I really enjoy my networking group. I have an opportunity to not only talk about planning cruise vacations but to think about how to make the planning experience fun for my clients. On my way to my networking meeting the other day, I realized I had not thought about what I was going to say to my fellow entrepreneurs. My plate has been full with a new life, and I was about to go into my meeting…well… unprepared.
Why not talk about my full plate and my new life? I am about to become a married woman…again! So, with nothing else in mind for my “talk” I used my 90 seconds to entertain my peers with the announcement of my plans for a new lifestyle. It went rather well, in my opinion. I ran out of my 90-second time spot when I was about to explain that I am not wearing a rock on my finger because we are planning a cruise for next year.
I have been a rather expensive fiancee and have done a lot of shopping since my betrothed proposed. I am also planning on some home improvements since I moved into my fiancee’s home.
So, I am getting my priorities in order and promise to do less shopping, keep the improvements to a minimum and, by all means, I will take the cruise with my new hubby!
Alrighty then, I must get off now…on our way to the attorney’s office this afternoon to sign our prenup!
What an exciting time of your life….I am so thrilled that you are taking this step with your wonderful man. It’s been such an honor to witness this relationship blossom—and the huge smile you have on your face. Cruising for a honeymoon, postponed or otherwise, is a great way to celebrate in a “no-brainer” kind of way. Heck, cruising for any reason is the ultimate relaxed, fun-filled adventure. Many years of happiness to you both!
You are the best..Debe!
